Every man has a home
Even lions a place to roam
'Birds have nest and fox have den'
To shelter them from the stalking winds

When the sun dies down
Our friendly fire's gone
To their homes they all return
Until the dawn

When the land's so quiet
You can hear a crawler's step
Look to the horizon and see my silhouette

Because i'm a wanderer
That’s what i am
I have no family
Like the inconceivable wind

I have no certain destiny
A reason or a rhyme
Like the sands of the sea
And the redwood trees
I keep no track of time

By the sun's horizon you'll find me
I'm there everyday
Watching the sun rise up
