My fellow artists and readers, I just want to give
you an update in regards to my earlier announcement made about my upcoming book
of poetry entitled, "Zen is Now." I was hoping to have completed the
editing process and to be speaking about its release on Smashword, as well as Barnes
& Noble.com, by now. Truth of the matter is the editing process has
taking much longer than I anticipated.
Not to lose heart! Because I have my
nose fixed to the grinding stone and shall be giving you follow up announcements,
not only on my progress, but on a foreseeable release date. I also will be
giving you explicit instructions on how to order an electronic copy in advance
of the book's release schedule. So stay tuned and be on the lookout for my
future news blasts concerning the book, "Zen is Now" and its arrival!
Also, for the benefit of any newcomers who did not receive
my original social media notification, here's a little information taken from
the book's preface.
"Zen is Now" is a compilation of nearly 30
years of my poetry material, many of which you might've heard and seen me
perform on stage. Some of which you may not be acquainted with. There are also
a few new verses included as well. In all, "Zen is Now" is the
product of my personal, philosophical ruminations of this experience called
life, as well my view to attaining the coveted state of Zen. Each poem reflects
my inner voice in a variety of contrasting ways. Some are light and jovial. Others
are dark and foreboding. There are even a few comical as well as contrasting
deep, metaphysical reflections.
In all, I believe you will discover "Zen is
Now" to be a rare odyssey into the inner workings of my mind as an artist.
I encourage you to sit back with your favorite cup of Joe and enjoy reading
this collection.
